1955 VENDO 39 COCA COLA MACHINE COMPLETELY RESTORED Picture and Description:
Here is an incredible 1955 Vendo 39 Coca-Cola machine completely restored to perfection. This machine as undergone a 4 year restoration project which was meticulously done by an antique car restorer. The restoration cost me approximately $5800 on top of the original purchase price of the machine. Everything from the ground up was addressed. The paint work was done by Body By Mule located in Trenton, NJ which specialize in exotic car paint work such as Ferrari and Lamborghini. The paint has been buffed to perfection and you can perfectly see your reflection almost anywhere on the machine. The "Have A Coke" logos on the sides are actually in the paint and not a decal or sticker. Paint job on this machine was $1300, more than some car jobs but I wanted it perfect. Original parts were triple plated chrome where visible which was done by Frankford Plating in Philadelphia, PA. Chroming parts was $1475. All the bolts, screws, washers fasteners etc were replaced exactly to chrome polished and stainless steel for inside the unit. The screws/fasteners cost $280. The refrigeration unit was restored by Antique Vending in North Carolina. The refrigeration restoration cost $650. The coin mechanism was completely rebuilt using all the original parts. Almost all the parts were chromed to a mirror finish to add to the display. The coin mech is one of the best features of this machine due to the intricate parts inside which look amazing. The coin mech can be set to take a nickle, a dime or both, whichever you prefer. As you can see in the video, everything works perfectly on the machine from the coin mech, to the drum rotating to dispense bottles, sold out mechanism, the refrigeration system runs super quiet and "Ice cold" as it says on the bottom of the machine and so forth. This machine is perfect for a home display, business, museum, or even if you want to use it as it was intended, to sell Coke. Just don't tell me if you decide to do that because it will break my heart haha. I am selling this machine unfortunately because, point blank, I could really use the money. I don't have to sell it but if the reserve is met, which is LOW, I will part with it. The machine is located in Trenton, New Jersey and is available to inspect whenever you like. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you for looking and make sure you view the video for a better idea of how nice this Vendo really is.
